We had a great experience. It was my first time to Al-Ameer. My partner found the location on Yelp. I asked our waitress for recommendations and they were all great! The food tasted great and the atmosphere is lively. Be prepared to bring your appetite, the portions are large!

Despite the fact that this was the closest Al-Ameer to my husband's old apartment, I have never actually reviewed it! We used to stop by this Al-Ameer, and also Ab's in the same lot all the time when he used to live in Dearborn Heights. We came in on a Wednesday night and were seated right away. We split the Stuffed Lamb and an order of grape leaves. The stuffed lamb came with a side salad and also pita. It was as good as we remembered. Honestly, this was one of our best meals during our week in Michigan. Service was attentive and very friendly. I wish we had an Al-Ameer here in NJ.
